Price Tower
David Lee Anderson © 2020
The large painting of the Price Tower is the third one I've done, originally intended to debut at the Festival of the Arts 2020. The only other time the Festival has been cancelled was days after the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995. This is acrylic on gessoed masonite 18" X 24" looking generally NNE at the building. It is a cantilevered design, with a central core of poured concrete with the floors hanging off the core like leaves. The bottom two floors are an art museum, where an exhibit of Frida Kahlo was installed.
