Union Bus Station

The Union Bus Station stood at the corner of Sheridan and Walker in downtown Oklahoma City from 1941 until 2015. It incorporated Streamline Moderne architecture. The iconic sign and blue vitrolite facade were saved and are reportedly being included as design elements in the parking garages that will replace the structure. I took pictures of the building shortly before it was demolished. My lovely wife's comment on the finished piece: "Looks as good as an inherently ugly building can look."
