View from Myriad Gardens

The Myriad Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City began as a revitalization plan designed by I.M. Pei in 1964. The gardens were based on Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, and were completed in phases over the course of nearly 40 years. After many years of planning, construction officially started in 1975 and the most recent renovations were completed in 2011. Gave an ink drawing to my friend when she left Oklahoma for L.A. called, "View From Myriad Gardens," to remind her of home. I completed the painting a year later.
